Abstract

Effect of peripheral nerve stimulation(SSP) for pain relief median sternotomy were evaluated in ten open cardiac surgical patients. Ten to twenty voltages of ten HZ electricity with the fashion of trimix was given in each patient for thirty
minutes. The
pain start to be subsided after fifteen minutes of stimulation and subscided completely after 30 minutes of stimulation in all patients.
